This is an “Open Invitation” to honor Memorial Day with us
on Monday May 30, 2022, by attending a one (1) hour ceremony
at Richland Twp. Park starting at 09:45 AM (Free picnic to follow).
Post 548 will be recognizing all service members, and all members of
American Legion Post 548. This year we will also be recognizing the
Norther Regional Police Department and other Law Enforcement.
Additionally, we will be saluting our community First Responders and all
those veterans, who are members of American Legion Post 548 (Bakerstown),
that have passed away since last Memorial Day (2020).
I have attached a copy of the 2022 Memorial Day Program for your review.
Having a “Final Roll Call” ceremony for our community veterans is the real
meaning of Memorial Day. Post 548 requests you to help remember their sacrifice
by attending this years Memorial Day Service! If military veteran don’t set the
honorable example to remember this day and our fallen; who else do you expect
to attend?
